The name of the first technique is gwan-jeol-gi-beop (관절기법). gwan-jeol means joint, so this is a technique in which we manipulate one of our opponent’s joints. To be more precise we apply a outward wrist lock. That’s why the technique is sometimes refered to a son-mok gwan-jeol-gi-beop. Son-mok (손목) is the Korean word for wrist.
